Families will be selected on these following criteria:
- Families who are needy and severely affected by the flood and water logging and need external supports
- Families who are headed by women
- Families who have temporary lost their income due to sickness/disability of main earner
- Families have pregnant and lactating mothers
- Families who have completely or partially damaged their houses
- Families who have lost their safe drinking water options
- Families who have lost their crops and other assets
- Low income families (daily labourers, rickshaw pullers, poor farmers, fishermen, small traders
- Minority groups
- Families have disabled members unable to provide any supports
Before selection of beneficiaries, survey will be conducted from door-to-door. The survey team will verify the beneficiaries’ list with local governments to avoid the duplication of resources. Then for final selection of beneficiaries, community consultation will be done at the community level to avoid the conflicts.
